About New Urbanism
Fallbrook is the first development in Nebraska to embrace the concepts of New Urbanism and Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND). At nearly 700 acres, Fallbrook is also one of the largest such developments in America. Whereas the planning of conventional suburbs is based on the rigid separation of land use, New Urbanism and TND neighborhoods attempt to achieve balance by carefully planning and mixing diverse residential units with places of employment and needed neighborhood services. In many ways, it’s a fresh look at the way neighborhoods used to be.
